Daisy Ridley in Negotiations to Star in Crime Thriller, THE ICE BENEATH HER

An upcoming novel adaptation of The Ice Beneath Her has landed Daisy Ridley as its star for the upcoming psychological crime thriller.

The film will be based on the best-selling novel, The Ice Beneath Her, by Camilla Grebe. It centers on a detective and psychological profiler, both working to solve a case in which a woman is found beheaded in the home of a well-known businessman. The case begins to unravel numerous truths, pinning the crime-solving due in a race against time.

Ridley most-recently wrapped on her trilogy run as Rey in the tail end of the Skywalker Saga in 2019. She is also lined up to star in three-different projects in 2021, Kolma, A Woman of No Importance and Chaos Walking.
