New Series Reads Like an Awesome Saturday Morning Cartoon in Scout’s GROM
June 3, 2020 Off By Michael StagnoA new series coming to Scout Comics promises to be a beautiful mashup of TMNT and Star Wars, but in a Saturday morning cartoon format, per creators Gilbert Deltrez and Sebastian Navas in, Galactic Rodents of Mayhem, or ‘GROM‘.
The upcoming series centers on the GROM squad, which is comprised of Bash, Ripple and Mona-Lisa. The trio operates under the leadership of a gecko named, Gan-Gon. That’s right, three mice and a gecko! The anthropomorphic team has a $100 million bounty on it and must now embark on a deadly ‘cat-and-mouse’ game of survival, while dodging S.P.A.C.E. (Space Police Authority & Command Enterprise) and the team’s nemesis, Dark Raider.
“We were impressed by the vision of Scout,” said Deltrez. “A powerful up-and-coming indie comic book house that is looking to make a name for itself as a publisher, as we are with our cool capybaras.”
The forthcoming series even already has a catchy Saturday morning cartoon jingle, one which will definitely stick with you! See below.
Galactic Rodents of Mayhem (GROM) #1 is currently scheduled to go on sale in late 2020.

Update (6/3/20): Don’t refer to the members of the GROM squad as mice, rats or guinea pigs. They are capybaras. Got it!?
Message received, loud and clear, Sebastian. All of us here, at Galaxtic Pop, are so excited for this book!
