Both DC Comics and HBO Max have partnered on a limited series of a trio of digital comics, To The Max, of which each issue will correspond with its respective upcoming shows and characters.

The series includes, To the Max: HectorTo the Max: Brian and To the Max: Olivia, all written by Ivan Cohen, with interior art provided by Hendry Prasetya, Scot Eaton and Laura Braga. The books follow three seemingly-regular people, who encounter Max the Dog, a magical canine with the ability to give ordinary people extraordinary powers. You can also expect to find the book equipped with plenty of ‘Easter Eggs’ and references to all the exclusive content that can be found on the streaming service.

Robert Greenblatt, chairman of WarnerMedia stated, “These fun, original stories depict a diverse range of ordinary individuals who are symbolic of the depth and breadth of programming that is available on the platform, driving home the message that HBO Max has something for everyone.”

DC also enlisted three legendary artists to do the covers for each issue in Amanda Conner, Jorge Jimenez and even DC chairman and CEO Jim Lee!

“We are excited to share these new and original stories of Hector, Brian, Olivia and Max with the DC fans, and all fans of great entertainment content,” said Lee. “These are superhero stories at their core, but they are also a pop culture scavenger hunt for the most-media savvy!”

To The Max #1-3 are all available now on the DC Universe app, as well as at dccomics.com or ComiXology.
