Netflix Inks Series Deal with Filmmaker Patty Jenkins

Director and writer, Patty Jenkins, has signed on to produce new series as part of an exclusive deal with Netflix.

The deal is a multi-year one as Jenkins will produce multiple upcoming series for the streaming giant.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Patty Jenkins to Netflix, said Channing Dungey, VP of Original Series. “Her trailblazing work has pushed boundaries and she confidently tells stories that leave an unforgettable mark. We look forward to fostering her many ideas and helping them come to life.”

Jenkins is currently completing production on the follow-up to the smash DC Comics adaptation of Wonder Woman (2017), Wonder Woman 1984.
