Eva Longoria Tasked with Adapting Cheetos Biopic, FLAMIN’ HOT

Actress Eva Longoria is set to direct Flamin’ Hot, a biopic about the man who created the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos snack, Richard Montanez.

Longoria, in conjunction with DeVon Franklin, Samuel Rodriguez and Fox Searchlight, will tell the inspiring story of Montanez, a former janitor and son of a Mexican immigrant, who remained humble to achieve the American dream and created the recipe for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, inspired by flavors of his community to disrupt the food industry and helping build a pop culture phenomenon.
