Brad Pitt Tapped as an Assassin in Upcoming Action Thriller, BULLET TRAIN

Filmmaker David Leitch is set to direct Bullet Train for Sony Pictures, which has just enlisted Brad Pitt to star as an American hitman.

The film will be based on the novel, Maria Beetle, from writer, Kōtarō Isaka. It will follow a hitman who operates under the codename of Ladybug (Pitt), who is competing with numerous other assassins aboard a speeding train, all with different, but conflicting motives.

The project will be scripted by Zak Olkewicz, while Antoine Fuqua, who developed the forthcoming film, will serve as executive producer.

Pitt, who last appeared in 2019’s breakout, Ad Astra, will also begin filming soon on Babylon, while also serving as a producer on two new television series, The Underground Railroad and Americanah.
