The Dynamic Duo of Voice Acting Will Appear Together One. Last. Time.
March 4, 2024Dear friends… November 10, 2022 we lost not just a man, but a symbol. With the tragic Kevin Conroy two years ago, we thought the last time we’d hear the Dark Knight in action was the video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Not too long after that the iconic voice of the Clown Prince of Crime, Mark Hamill announced that he would be retiring from his role as the Joker. Mark Hamill said it himself “Without Batman, crime has no punchline” and he didn’t want to continue with the character without his old chum in the sound booth.
But fear not Bat-Fans! IGN got an exclusive scoop, the two iconic voice actor’s will make their character’s last appearance in the new DC animated film, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part 3. With Part 2 releasing on April 23, 2024, there is no timeline when Part 3 will be released.
DC hasn’t commented to what capacity the Joker and Batman will be returning, it could be the focal point of the third instalment, it could just be a quick cameo, all that can be said is hopefully fans will hopefully find this last performance by Kevin Conroy more satisfying than the character’s ignoble death in the Suicide Squad game.
