NYCC 2019: Dark Horse Unveils STRANGER THINGS: INTO THE FIRE

In continuing the Stranger Things story, Dark Horse, in conjunction with Netflix, will release its third installment in the franchise in 2020.

The new series, dubbed, Stranger Things: Into the Fire, will further expand the world for escapees of Dr. Brenner’s experiments. The story is set in 1984, two years after the children with gifts depart the Hawkins-based facility, and will center on two survivors who are looking for No. 9, because she needs their help now, even more than ever! When news reaches them that the lab has been shut down, they go on a mission for the powerful No. 9, whose powers include powerful pyrokinetics, but suffers from a malevolent imagination, thus affecting her psyche.

The book will come courtesy of the creative duo of writer Jody Houser and artist Ryan Kelly.

Stranger Things: Into the Fire #1 goes on sale on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.
