Dark Horse Adapting CUISINE CHINOISE, for the First Time, in English

Cartoonist Zao Dao, per her original anthology work, Cuisine Chinoise: 5 Tales of Life and Food, which highlights food, folklore and culture, will be adapted, for the first time ever, in English, at Dark Horse Comics.

The anthology book is an overlap of stories like, an insect looking for a meal and a man whose passion for cooking is sought to maintain a family legacy. The wonderfully-illustrated stories explore rich and humorous worlds within showcased and beautiful relationships of Chinese culture, food, family and friends.

The 96-page original graphic novel, Cuisine Chinoise: 5 Tales of Life and Food, arrives in comics shops on June 10, 2020, while a bookstore release is currently set for June 23.

Michael is a New England native, raised in Florida and fluent in Italian. He graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism (RTVF) from Auburn University. He is a BIG fan of the Boston sports scene, X-Men, space, science fiction and horror. He also does crossfit, surfs and is a boulderer, marathoner and gamer.
