Netflix Scripted Series, CLICKBAIT, Announces Core 4 Cast Members

Principal photography is underway for Clickbait, a Netflix scripted series, as the starring roles have been handed out to Adrian Grenier, Zoe Kazan, Phoenix Raei and Betty Gabriel.

The upcoming limited series, per showrunner Tony Ayres and producer David Heyman, is a character-focused thriller which explores the many ways in which human’s most-dangerous and uncontrolled impulses are driven by the age of social media. The show will reveal the ever-growing fractures humans find between their virtual and real-life personas.

Kazan is best-known for her starring role in the 2017 comedy, The Big Sick. She is also currently filming a television miniseries, The Plot Against America. Entourage alum, Grenier, has two projects currently in post-production, Stage Mother and Freeze, which are both slated for 2020 releases. Gabriel is currently filming Defending Jacob and also appeared in the 2017 breakout, Get Out, while Raei is filming Stateless, a TV series.

The project is currently in pre-production. Keep an eye out for it to debut exclusively on Netflix in mid- to late 2020.
