DRAGONCON: 2019 Preview
July 31, 2019Pop culture celebrities, creators and fans, alike, will all soon descend upon Atlanta to kick off fall at Dragon Con, the premier convention of the Southeast, which has now been operating for over 30 years!
Fans of comics, movies and television, science fiction, cosplay, anime, gaming and much, much more are chomping at the bit to attend the ultimate and largest multi-genre pop culture convention.
The convention is held annually on Labor Day weekend and takes place in five host hotels, Atlanta Hilton, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Sheraton Atlanta and Westin Peachtree Hotel – Downtown Atlanta. Attendees will have the opportunity to get autographs and photos, find numerous pop culture treasures and attend celebrity panels, including events exclusive to Dragon Con, like ‘How To’ workshops, Q&A sessions and various other seminars.
This year’s convention will feature a laundry list of exciting celebrity guests, including legends like, Robert Englund, Rebecca Mader, Cary Elwes, Catherine Tate, Lou Ferrigno, Jane Badler and George Takei. Notable comic book icons in attendance include, George Perez, Keith Giffen, Mike Grell, Fabian Nicieza and Roy Thomas.
