Netflix and Line Friends Announce BROWN & FRIENDS Animated Series

A whole new world of storytelling is coming to Netflix in announcing the globally-beloved Brown & Friends will be expanding to an original series at the streaming service, per a partnership with Line Friends.

The animated original series will serve as a non-verbal, slapstick comedy, which will tell the story of a diverse set of characters, who are all neighbors, living in the same small town. It will invite audiences of all ages to gather in watching Brown, Sally, Cony, Moon and many other fan-favorites.

“The band of adorable Brown & Friends characters has been a part of many fans’ daily lives since they were created as stickers on Line Mobile messengers,” said Director of Original Animation Aram Yacoubian. “Now, we’re excited to develop the expanded world for screens of all kinds to delight new audiences everywhere on Netflix.”

Kickstart Entertainment will be co-producing the series and more information, including production news announcements, is set for a later date.
