Dark Horse is ‘Shooting for the Stars’ with THE ORVILLE
June 25, 2019Get ready to engage Quantum Drives. Dark Horse Comics has a new series coming based on the hit television show, The Orville.
The upcoming limited series will have all the creatures and characters you love, with some exciting new ones as well. The timeline for the series will take place in between the show’s first two seasons. Showrunner David A. Goodman wrote the book, while it is drawn by the up-and-comer David Cabeza.
Goodman is credited with writing three episodes for The Orville, as well as seven for Family Guy. This will be his first time writing a comic book series. In addition, it will also be Cabeza’s first time as well.
Created by Seth MacFarlane, the show launched as a comedy, but with its second season, has cemented itself as a legitimate science-fiction show.
Keep an eye out for The Orville #1 (of 4) to land on shelves on July 17. The Orville will return for a third season in late 2020, exclusively on Hulu, of which you can catch up on the first two seasons now!
