A Unique Discovery Sends the World into a Frenzy in, STARSHIP DOWN

A new limited science fiction series is en route at Dark Horse Comics, per creators Justin Giampaoli and Andrea Mutti, called, Starship Down.

The four-issue miniseries follows Jocelyn Young, a cultural anthropologist, who makes a mind-blowing discovery of an extraterrestrial ship, buried under ice in Siberia. As she consults with the intelligence of the U.S. Navy, meddling Russians, officials of the Vatican Church and other parameters, are threatening her efforts in keeping the fabric of society from falling apart, all while mankind starts to discover its true and startling origin.

“Starship Down is a sci-fi drama that was truly an exercise in, ‘write the type of story you want to read’,” said Giampaoli. “The heart of the story is really about finding your true place in the world, in a way that’s not bound by what’s come before.”

Starship Down #1 (of 4) arrives in shops on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
