Faith Navigates Her Way to Italy, Magic and Chaos to Follow in, FAITHLESS II
January 23, 2020A new six-issue limited series will serve as a follow-up to the critically-acclaimed, Faithless, from creators Brian Azzarello and Maria Llovet in, Faithless II, as mysticism hits the streets of Italy.
The series follows Faith and her lovers, Louis (the Devil) and Poppy, his daughter. The trio is bound for the city of Turin (Torino), the epicenter of magic, as well as a cultural phenomenon in regard to art, literature and fashion. Faith, whose power is growing, finds that with great power comes a price, and she has only just begun to realize that.
“I’m excited to dive back into Faithless with Maria. When we last saw Faith, it appeared she’d gotten all that she’d wished for, but at what cost? Well, since the devil is involved, it shouldn’t be too hard to guess the price,” said Azzarello. “We’re going to take Faith from the heady, downtown art scene and move her to Turin, a city steeped in both black and white magic.”
Each issue will also come equipped with a limited, black-bagged erotic variant, courtesy of cover artist Tula Lotay, and will not be reprinted or collected in subsequent formats.
Faithless II #1 (of 6) is currently slated to go on sale in April of 2020.
