Netflix Drops First Trailer for THE POLITICIAN

The first trailer for the upcoming satirical political comedy series, which is bound for Netflix, The Politician, has released, offering a look at dirty politics among the good living.

The Netflix Original Series stars Ben Platt, as Payton Hobart, and Gwyneth Paltrow, telling the story of Hobart, who since he was 7-years-old has had aspirations of being the President of the United States. However, he’ll first have to navigate the treacherous political landscape of his high school.

The series also stars 12 other series regulars, including Lucy Boynton, Bob Balaban, Zoey Deutch, Benjamin Barrett, Rahne Jones, and Bette Midler, among others.

The eight-episode launch season will debut on Netflix on Friday, Sept. 27.
