Cast Completed for AWAKE on Netflix
August 21, 2019The remaining cast, joining Gina Rodriguez, has rounded out for the upcoming post-apocalyptic Netflix Original Film, Awake.
The film tells the story following a devastating global event, one that wipes out all electronics and renders people with the inability to fall asleep. A former soldier, Jill (Rodriguez), may now have found the solution and it lies within her daughter. She must deliver the cure and save the world before she loses her mind.
Joining Rodriguez will be Ariana Greenblatt, Frances Fisher, Shamier Anderson, Finn Jones, Lucius Hoyos, Gil Bellows, Barry Pepper and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Mark Raso, who co-wrote the film, alongside brother Joseph and Greg Poirier, will direct, while Paul Schiff and Mark Gordon will produce it.
No news yet on a release date, but production has begun filming.
