Dark Horse Lands Comic Rights to PREDATOR: THE ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY
February 21, 2020 Off By Michael StagnoPrior to the Predators arriving on Earth, there were the Hunters. A new comic book adaptation is en route at Dark Horse Comics in, Predator: The Original Screenplay, from creators Jeremy Barlow and Patrick Blaine.
The series, based on the original screenplay from both James E. Thomas and John C. Thomas, will center on a team of military specialists while on a rescue mission in the jungles of Central America. The classified mission, which its details remain a mystery, leads to the team uncovering a trail of lies and deceit. It’s not just the government observing their every moves, but something else is tracking them and the hunt has begun!
The news follows plans announced by the publisher in also adapting the original screenplay of Alien (and Alien 3) in comic book form as well.
Predator: The Original Screenplay #1 (of 5) goes on sale on June 10, 2020.
