Phoebe Waller-Bridge Signs Overall Deal with Amazon

The Amazon Prime Video streaming platform and Phoebe Waller-Bridge have entered an exclusive multiple-year contract for television and film distribution.

The multiyear deal, which is substantial, will see Waller-Bridge make $20 million-per-year, in which she will create and produce new content for Amazon Studios, which will exclusively premiere on Prime Video.

“I’m insanely excited to be continuing my relationship with Amazon,” said Waller-Bridge. “Working with the team on Fleabag was the creative partnership dreams are made of. It really feels like home. I can’t wait to get going!”

Waller-Bridge’s show, Fleabag, took home a staggering six Emmy Awards this year, in just the show’s second season.
