THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS Will Corrupt Six DC Heroes for the Holidays

Nightmares are plenty for both Batman and Superman in November and December, as The Batman Who Laughs will infect six of their super friends, turning them into foes.

Each corrupted hero will get a one-shot, which will tie into The Infected storyline, an arc that continues to build in the ongoing Batman/Superman series. The Batman Who Laughs has given each a toxin that will transform them into violent, evil versions of themselves.

The publisher has revealed four-of-the-six that will be infected, including Supergirl, Hawkman, Shazam! and Blue Beetle, but the final two will be unveiled in the upcoming Batman/Superman #4.

Getting the series started will be The Infected: King Shazam! #1, which will drop on November 6, from creators Sina Grace and Joe Bennett, followed by The Infected: Scarab #1, on Nov. 20, from Dennis Hallum and Freddie E. Williams II. Rounding out the series will be tie-in issues, Hawkman #18 (Nov. 13), from Robert Venditti and Pat Olliffe, Supergirl #36 (Nov. 13) by Marc Andreyko and Eduardo Pansica and B/S #4 by Joshua Williamson and David Marquez on Nov. 27. The final two yet to be unveiled will get one-shots, themselves, in December.
