Netflix Announces Core Cast for Female-Driven Spy Series, IN FROM THE COLD
March 5, 2020The series regulars for the upcoming spy thriller, In From the Cold, has been revealed by Netflix, as the project heads into pre-production this month.
The pilot season will consist of eight episodes, each one-hour long, and center on a single mother, Jenny Franklin (Margarita Levieva), whose life in suburban New Jersey is turned upside-down when the FBI arrests her. She’s pinned to make one of two choices, confront her past as a highly-trained and bio-engineered Russian agent, thus becoming an asset to Russia and exact war on U.S. elections, or put her family and the life she’s built at risk.
Series regulars include: Ivanna Sakhno, as Anya, a promising young Russian intelligence agent, Cillian O’Sullivan (Chauncey), a rogue CIA agent, Lydia Fleming (Becca), a teenage figure skater, Charles Brice (Chris), a computer hacker, and Alyona Khmelnitskaya, who will play a former KGB agent, Svetlana Petrova.
Production has begun in Spain, while Ami Canaan Mann will serve as the director on the series. Keep an eye out for updates!
