The dynamic skit and prop comedy duo of Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz, otherwise known as Middleditch & Schwartz, are bringing their talents to Netflix as part of a three-part series.

The three comedy specials will serve as standalone specials, each completely improvised. The two actors and improv comedians have been touring together, but this will mark the first time they will have done so on screen.

Known best for his five-year run as Richard Hendricks on Silicon Valley and numerous roles in many fan-favorite indie films, Middleditch turned in some mainstream projects in 2019 in both Zombieland: Double Tap and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. He is currently filming on two projects, a comedy television series, B-Positive, and a feature drama, Above the Line.

Schwartz, who is sill riding the success of his breakout blockbuster, Sonic the Hedgehog, became a fan-favorite after his run as Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation. He’s beloved among the pop culture community as an avid gamer and comic book fan. He is currently filming on Netflix‘s Space Force and will also voice the son of M.O.D.O.K., in the upcoming reimagining of the Marvel villain in his own animated series.

The Middleditch & Schwartz comedy special(s) will debut with the first-of-three on Netflix on April 21, 2020.
