Marvel Announces BLACK PANTHER AND THE AGENTS OF WAKANDA in New Ongoing Series
June 25, 2019An unexpected, but exciting Marvel team is coming in September from the creative duo of Jim Zub and Lan Medina, in Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda.
The series will tab Black Panther, General Okoye, Gorilla Man, The Wasp and Ka-Zar, as the Agents of Wakanda, versus everything that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn’t dream of taking on, like vampires, aliens and monsters.
“Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda is a Kirby-fueled, Mission: Impossible in the Marvel Universe,” Zub said. “It’s over-the-top action and unexpected twists with a cast of characters pulled from strange places in the Marvel Comics canon. This is a strike force of misfits and monsters tasked with defending humanity and that gives me the freedom to tell a huge range of stories—serious and sadistic, epic and emotional.”
Keep an eye out for Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda #1 to hit bookshelves and digital on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
