Mignola and Hughes Team on Holiday Issue in HELLBOY AND THE B.P.R.D.: TSWC

This holiday season, the legendary Dark Horse creative team of Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and artist Adam Hughes will reunite for a December one-shot issue in, Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. #1: The Seven Wives Club.

The series will feature a young girl whose ghost hunt in Savannah, Ga., goes horribly wrong, hence the arrival of Hellboy. Things will ultimately shift from bad to worse, following a visit to an abandoned medical, which reveals a grisly and ghostly murder story from a long time ago.

“The Victorians used to read and tell ghost stories during the Christmas season,” said Mignola. “We might not be reading by candlelight these days, but I do like a good ghost story during the holiday season, especially when there are stolen cadavers, vengeful spirits and art by Adam Hughes.”

The holiday one-shot will hit bookshelves on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
