A Detective Goes Hollywood in GOLDIE VANCE: LARCENY IN LA LA LAND
September 27, 2019An all-new original graphic novel, from creators Jackie Ball and Mollie Rose, is en route at Boom! Studios, called, Goldie Vance: Larceny in La La Land.
Everyone’s favorite young detective is back, with a new mystery, mired in glitz, glamor and secrets, that you’d expect from Goldie Vance and friends, Cheryl and Diane, who all fly to Los Angeles. While there, Cheryl is pursuing her space dreams, Diane is continuing her work as a remote music label scout and Goldie, is sightseeing. She befriends an aging silent film star, who is framed for stealing, so Goldie will dive deeper into the secret history of ‘Tinsel Town’ to figure out who’s behind it.
“It was so much fun to send Goldie and her pals ‘on location’ to Los Angeles and old-school Hollywood. The time period Goldie lived in was such a visually exciting time in LA, I couldn’t resist bringing her out to solve some Hollywood crimes,” said Ball. “I’m so pumped to be playing in Goldie’s world again, and I love, love, love this book!”
The Goldie Vance: Larceny in La La Land original graphic novel, as part of its Boom! Box imprint, goes on sale in July, 2020.
