Heading to shelves this holiday season is a new series from Scout Comics, Last Stop, which offers a glimpse at a world close to losing its last superhero.

The series will arrive from the creative team of Trey Walker and Hoyt Silva. The story centers on Unstoppable, aka Lincoln Adams, who has a terminal disease. He is the world’s last ‘Super’ and is seeking to leave the planet in good shape before he goes, while also making peace with himself. As he ponders an ‘easy way out’, a re-emergence of an arch-nemesis, as well as a new masked shadowy figure, both throw a wrench in his plans of bailing early. He must now try to end the impending threat before the disease ends him.

“From releasing it originally as a web comic, to successfully funding a Kickstarter edition of the graphic novel, the reception to Last Stop over the past year and a half has been heartfelt and amazing,” said Walker. “The real cherry on top, however, is that we now get to team up with Scout to share our story about a hero confronting his own looming mortality.”

The series will launch in fall of 2019, but is available now for preorder.
