AWBW Drops Preview of DEAD LEGENDS, a Martial Arts Revenge Story

Indie publisher, A Wave Blue World (AWBW), is set to release a series which it describes as, ‘Kill Bill meets Enter the Dragon‘, in Dead Legends.

The series, from creators James Maddox and Gavin Smith, will center on three fighters, one seeking revenge, a champion seeking to lose and an assassin who is questioning a kill contract. The three will descend upon the Dead Legends Martial Arts Tournament, which pins the world’s best fighters against each other. Behind the scenes, the tourney may be in jeopardy, as alliances are formed, partnerships broken and fighters are dying.

The series will continue AWBW‘s ‘Premiere Program’, in which the publisher drops a special edition No. 1, which is followed by a graphic novel in collecting the first story arc.

Dead Legends #1 goes on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, while the collected trade will drop on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.
