Daniel Warren Johnson Makes ‘Black Label’ Debut with, WONDER WOMAN: DEAD EARTH

As DC Comics rolls on with its Black Label initiative, more creators are making their first appearances with new and innovative stories, like Daniel Warren Johnson, who will take on Diana in Wonder Woman: Dead Earth.

The four-issue miniseries will follow Diana, the Princess of Themyscira, aka Wonder Woman, who left paradise long ago to help mankind from burying itself, has awoken from a centuries-long slumber. She finds the Earth reduced to a nuclear wasteland as the planet’s heroes have all failed to protect it. She’s alone in a grim future where she must protect the last-remaining human city from massive monsters that have taken over, while also trying to uncover the secret of the Dead Earth.

Wonder Woman: Dead Earth #1 (of 4), written and drawn by Johnson, debuts on bookshelves on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
