More and more celebrities and musicians are starting to venture into the world of comics. Next in line, spin master Don Diablo, who has an upcoming series called, Hexagon, coming to Impact Theory.

The series, in which Diablo has recruited writer Michael Moreci and artist Jheremy Raapack, follows a young gamer, Don, who is obsessed with winning at the most-popular arcade game, Crucible. The trouble is, his father forbids him to play it, so he has to sneak out with his friends to do so. When his father goes out of town, he takes it upon himself to attend an all-night game-a-thon with the intentions of not only winning, but impressing a girl. He achieves the unthinkable and, on just his first quarter, beats the game that everyone has tabbed as, ‘impossible to beat’. His win, while it feels good at the time, triggers an alien invasion an pins him right in the middle of an intergalactic battle that has been raging for years.

“I loved the creative process we shared building this vision of our fantasy sci-fi world,” Diablo said. “We’ve put together a legendary team for my crossover into comic books. This is the beginning of many inspiring stories to come.”

Hexagon #1 is set to release in early 2020 and will follow in the footsteps of fellow DJ Steve Aoki‘s Neon Future series, also at Impact Theory.
