NYCC 2019: Amy Reeder Will Do it All in New DC Comics Series, AMETHYST

The insanely-talented Amy Reeder, as announced at New York Comic Con, will write, draw and color her own series at DC Comics, Amethyst.

The titular fan-favorite character, who made her triumphant return in the pages of Young Justice, will now have her very-own ongoing series.

Teenager Amy Winston, aka Princess Amethyst, returns to her magical kingdom to find that it is now in ruins and not as she remembers. Her subjects have all vanished and none in the Gemworld realm are still loyal to her. To solve the mystery as to what happened, save her family and restore her House Amethyst, she will have to confront dark secrets on a deadly quest, far across her homeland.

Amethyst #1 launches the series in February of 2020. Stay tuned for an official release date.
