NYCC 2019: Marvel Rebooting GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY in 2020

The creative duo of Al Ewing and Juann Cabal are helming Guardians of the Galaxy with a new series in January, per an announcement at New York Comic Con.

The series will center on a Guardians of the Galaxy team that is now a family at peace. However, the universe is not a peaceful place and it’s getting worse. The galaxy’s empires are in turmoil and the universe is lawless. Amidst the chaos, the Gods of Olympus have returned to wage a new war. Someone has to guard the galaxy, will the team of misfits heed the call?

There’s no official release date yet, but expect Guardians of the Galaxy #1 to launch in January of 2020.
