Charlotte Grote, from Giant Days, has landed her own limited series, via creators John Allison and Max Sarin, Wicked Things, due out next summer.

The series will follow 19-year-old ‘Lottie’ Grote, who has her whole life ahead of her and is headed to university and pursuing a future as a real detective. However, a wrench is thrown into her plans when she’s framed for murder. Given the choice between jail and joining the police, she decides to ‘hit the beat’ in finding the real murderer.

Wicked Things is a tale I’ve been waiting years to tell—the story of what happens when a precocious teen detective ages out of their division overnight. Lottie Grote is the crown jewel of my little comics universe, and I don’t think she could be in safer artistic hands than Max Sarin, whose work gets better every month,” said Allison. “I’m delighted the Giant Days team is back together so soon.”

Wicked Things #1 (of 6) will go on sale in March of 2020.
