Coming to Dark Horse, per creators Neil Gaiman and P. Craig Russell, with an all-star list of artists, Norse Mythology will be adapted for the first time as 18 individual comic book issues.

The series, adapted from Gaiman’s novel of the same title, will take readers on a journey through the creation of the Nine Realms, on the epic origin adventure of Odin and his two sons, Thor and Loki, all the way to the end of life in, Ragnarök.

“I fell in love with the Norse gods from reading about them in comics as a boy, so it’s only fitting that they return to the medium that started it,” said Norse Mythology creator Neil Gaiman. “I cannot wait to see P. Craig Russell and his collaborators tell the old stories for a new generation.”

The first issue of Norse Mythology will serve as a FCBD offering on May 2, 2020, while Norse Mythology #1 goes on sale on May 27.
