Adapted Version of Original ALIEN Screenplay Coming to Dark Horse

A partnership between Dark Horse Comics and 20th Century Fox will see creators Cristiano Seixas and Guilherme Balbi will adapt the (original) Alien screenplay from Dan O’Bannon, Alien: The Original Screenplay.

The five-issue limited series will present an alternate timeline of events featured in the motion picture manuscript, following the Snark crew on its way back to Earth. The team intercepts an alien transmission and travels off course to investigate a desolate planet and crashed alien spacecraft. When the crew comes across a structural pyramid, the true terror begins.

Alien: The Original Screenplay #1 (of 5) goes on sale Wednesday, April 22, 2020, ahead of the fifth-annual Alien Day, which takes place on April 26.
