Dark Horse Announces Black Hammer Spinoff, COLONEL WEIRD: COSMAGOG

January 9, 2020 Off By Michael Stagno

The story for that wacky space navigator, Colonel Randall Weird, continues as creators Jeff Lemire and Tyler Crook are bringing him back in a new limited series, Colonel Weird: Cosmagog.

The series will follow Colonel Weird as he has left the Black Hammer farm to embark on a strange journey through space and time, searching for something that he’s long-forgotten, despite his sanity (and life) are at stake!

Colonel Weird has been my favorite Black Hammer character since Dean Ormston and I created him. I’ve always wanted to do a series where the storytelling would echo Weird‘s unique mind and unique perspective,” said Lemire. “Tyler Crook’s work more-than lives up to the challenge. This is a deep dive into Colonel Weird’s past and his future. This series will answer the question of what happened to him after the events of Black Hammer: Age of Doom.”

Colonel Weird: Cosmagog #1 (of 4) goes on sale on April 22, 2020.
