Image/Skybound Reveals Return of DEAD BODY ROAD in New Arc, BAD BLOOD
February 24, 2020Creator Justin Jordan is back with an all-new follow-up to his Dead Body Road series, along with artist Benjamin Tiesma, in which family is everything, Dead Body Road: Bad Blood.
The series follows Bree Hale, who has seemingly left her past life of having served in the military (and crime) behind. However, she can’t leave her family behind, especially when a local crime boss puts a hit out on her brother. There is nothing she won’t do to save him. Absolutely nothing.
“Well, it’s been a couple years, but I am back to crime … writing,” said Jordan. “Crime writing. This is another story about revenge, but this time, from the point of view of the person trying to stop someone else from getting it. But should she? Dead Body Road is back.”
The limited series comes almost six years after the release of Dead Body Road, which Jordan spearheaded along with Matteo Scalera, who will also be returning to provide cover art for the new run. The initial book centered on a man who set out on a road of revenge versus the men responsible for his wife’s murder.
Dead Body Road: Bad Blood #1 (of 6) goes on sale on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
