Scout Comics Launches First of 20 Series in 2020 with, EVERGLADE ANGELS

A dangerous shortcut through the Florida swamps leads a softball team down a treacherous path in Everglade Angels, a new series coming to Scout Comics, per creators Scott Lobdell, Blake Northcott and John Upchurch.

The series will follow a softball team, one whose bus veers off the path for final hurrah, comprised of drinking and dancing before each of the players go their respective separate ways. However, the team soon stumbles upon a trap set by a murderous cult, but said cult could have never anticipated dealing with victims prepared to fight back, setting the stage for blood-soaked carnage.

The announcement marks the first of 20 coming this year from the publisher, which is gearing up for its fifth anniversary since its first book landed on shelves. The celebration will culminate with a celebration (and giveaways) on October 28, 2020.

Everglade Angels #1 is currently slated to hit shelves in mid- to late-2020.
