The Perfect Heist Executed During a Monster Attack in THE KAIJU SCORE

An awesome genre mashup series has been announced at AfterShock Comics, per creators James Patrick and Rem Broo, which is one part Godzilla and equal parts The Italian Job in, The Kaiju Score.

The series follows a career criminal looking to execute the perfect crime of the century, all while be it during an attack from a monstrous kaiju on the city.

“The Kaiju Score is a Quentin Tarantino film taking place in some corner of a Godzilla movie,” said Patrick. “You have this giant canvas of a kaiju attack occurring, and as it happens there’s this more personal story going on. And after that setup, it explores how these four characters, who are in just the worst situation in their lives, believe the only way out is to do this impossible thing. This crazy crime. It’s about that desperation.”

Kaiju Score #1 is currently slated to go on sale on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.
