VOYAGE TO THE STARS Podcast to be Adapted as Comic Series at IDW
May 25, 2020The fan-favorite podcast, Voyage to the Stars, is being adapted as a limited series at IDW Publishing, courtesy of creators James Asmus and artist Connie Daidone.
The podcast, which stars Felicia Day, Colton Dunn, Janet Varney, Kirsten Vangsness and Steve Berg, follows a space crew, one which has managed to survive the destruction of Earth. The team is determined to stop a growing evil that is consuming the universe, but must first stop bumbling in destroying planets and species, themselves, along the way.
The universe of the podcast is ever-expanding and rich in sci-fi comedy stories, having built itself quite the faithful following. It has also evolved into live shows and now comic books!
“Being involved with Voyage to the Stars has been such a highlight for me,” said Day. “Everyone that works on the show is so talented and funny, we could not stop laughing in the recording booth, so to see what we’ve been working so hard on for the last couple years continue to grow, this time into a comic book series, has been surreal and exciting – but also what we had hoped for all along!”
Voyage to the Stars #1 (of 4) is currently slated to go on sale in August of 2020.
