Z2 Comics Announces Compendium Partnership on GORILLAZ ALMANAC

A 120-page, full-color graphic novel is en route at Z2 Comics, in a partnership with the virtual band, Gorillaz, along with creator Jamie Hewlett, in celebrating their music and album and promotional art in, Gorillaz Almanac.

The book is inspired by the 20-year anniversary of the band and will include new artwork, puzzles, games and the first-ever comic strip starring the band members character personas of, 2D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals and Russel Hobbs. There will also be a plethora of special guest appearances and collaborators, both past and present.

The book will be offered in three versions, in ‘Standard’, ‘Deluxe’ and ‘Super-Deluxe’ editions, while each will also come with a CD featuring music from the band’s new lineup of tracks on Song Machine. 

The 2020 Gorillaz Almanac is currently slated for release in October. It will retail for $24.99 and is available for preorder now, via the Z2 Comics site, HERE. The ‘Super-Deluxe’ version is already sold out, but the ‘Standard’ and ‘Deluxe’ editions, the latter going for $99.99, are both still available.
