A Virus and a World Gone Mad in Forthcoming Scout Series, RABID WORLD
June 22, 2020Two couples navigate a world devastated by a rabies-like virus in an all-new series at Scout Comics in, Rabid World, from creators Todd Cinani and Oleg Okunev.
The book follows two couples, one determined in finding safety, the other, hell bent on saving humanity. The world is collapsing, thanks in part to a seemingly simple dog bite, which leads to a rabid outbreak, spinning victims into a violent rage. The couples, are on two different paths, but the missions are clear, one boards a sailboat in search of safety, while the other is bound for a bio-weapons research facility to find a cure.
“We are very excited to be working with Scout,” said Cinani. “I have read and loved many Scout comics, such as Smoke Town and the brilliant Solar Flare, so I decided on a Hail Mary pass, and submitted our end-of-the-world epic to them.”
Keep an eye out for Rabid World #1 to drop at some point in mid- to late-2020.
