Scout Comics Publishing New Series From Italian Creative Team in, DISTORTED
June 14, 2020Creators Salvatore Vivenzio and Gabriele Falzone are bringing their talents to Scout Comics via their news series, Distorted, about people with extraordinary powers, who are losing their minds.
The series will center on a few characters, all on separate paths, but ultimately on a collision course for one another. Tom is a ‘distorted’, or people with amazing capabilities. He works as a paranormal investigator. When a woman named Elisa, the president of a government organization, contacts him to help track down people deemed as, ‘distorted’, he finds himself competing with Brennar, who is hunting them down as well. It also includes James, a person trying to cope with what he is able to do with his powers and decides to rob a bank, as well as Mason, a ‘distorted’ and a serial killer, who uses his powers in thinking they make him stronger.
“Gabriele and I really appreciate the opportunity to work with Scout. The team seemed immediately highly-capable. It’s really important for us to be able to land in the USA with our project,” said Vivenzio. “We are young and we both come from Italy, but we have a great passion and a lot of enthusiasm. We are sure the Scout team will take care of our Distorted!”
Distorted #1 is currently expected to arrive on shelves in winter of 2020.
