When a Conspiracy Needs to be Covered Up, Call THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH

A new series from creators James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds promises to serve as a mashup of The X-Files and The Black Monday Murders, via the plot-twisting conspiracy-riddled, The Department of Truth.

The series centers on Cole Turner, a man who has devoted his life to conspiracy theories his entire life, but discovers that most of them are actually true. From the assassination of JFK, to the Earth being ‘flat’ and even shape-shifting reptiles, there’s one organization who has been behind covering up all of them and more, the Department of Truth.

“It is a frightening conspiracy thriller and I am deeply excited for people to join us for the ride,” said Tynion IV, who goes on to state that the upcoming series is, “unlike any project I have worked on before.”

The Department of Truth #1 is currently tabbed to debut on Wednesday, Sep. 30, 2020.
