Boom! Studios Announces ORIGINS is Shifting Gears to Become Limited Series in Fall

A new sci-fi series, bound for Boom! Studios, per creators Arash Amel, Joseph Oxford and Lee Toland Krieger, will present humanity’s final hope at survival in a person who also initiated its destruction as well in, Origins.

The limited series will take place 1,000 years after humans have all gone extinct. A world of artificial intelligence has taken over in its place, but a single man is brought back to life, David Adams, whose tech is responsible for wiping out the species, in hopes of undoing his mistake and bringing life, as we know it, back. With help from Chloe, his first creation, the android which revived him, he embarks on a journey to seek redemption.

The book was initially announced back in December of 2019 as a collected original graphic novel, before shifting to its forthcoming issues format.

Origins #1 (of 6) is currently expected to drop at some point in November of 2020.
