Cannes: Leonine Studios Claims Upcoming Thriller, VIOLENCE OF ACTION

An upcoming action thriller, Violence of Action, starring Chris Pine, Ben Foster and Gillian Jacobs, has been claimed in the multi-million dollar range at the Cannes Film Festival, in a deal between Leonine Studios and STX International.

The film centers on James Harper, played by Pine, who links up with a militarized black ops organization after he is discharged from the Marines. He travels to Poland as part of the elite squad to investigate a known threat, though mysterious in nature. Now alone, separated from his team, he’s being hunted and must fight to stay alive, in order to get back home in uncovering the ones behind betraying him.
