Warner Bros. Releases Final Trailer for JOKER
August 28, 2019The final trailer for Joker has arrived and boy, is it creepy. It not only continues to build the suspense for what the character is capable of, but sets the tone that this could be a wildly entertaining and gritty character study.
The film centers on Arthur Fleck, aka Joker (Joaquin Phoenix), the iconic arch nemesis of Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, well before his days in taking on the ‘Caped Crusader’. The film serves as an exploration of Fleck’s transition from a struggling and aspiring stand-up comic in Gotham City, to the ‘Clown Prince of Crime’. One bad decision leads to a chain reaction of evil, which all will ultimately propel him to embraces the chaos.
The film, which hits theaters, nationwide, on October 4, is directed by Todd Phillips and also stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron.
