Empire Mag Unveils STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Covers

The Skywalker Saga began in 1977 and comes to a close this holiday season with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which will be spotlighted in the November issue of Empire Magazine.

The issue will feature interviews with director JJ Abrams, Star Wars franchise president, Kathleen Kennedy, and writer, Chris Terrio.

The two main connecting covers feature the two stars, Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, and Rey (Daisy Ridley). Ren, adourned in his signature Darth Vader-inspired helmet and signature lightsaber and Rey, with her Skywalker-esque lightsaber.

The subscription cover, by artist Paul Shipper, features an illustration that is both, ‘bathed in light and cloaked in darkness’.

The November, 2019 issue hits newsstands on October 3, while Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases in theaters on December 20.
