Golden Globes to Honor Tom Hanks with 2020 Cecil B. DeMille Award

The incomparable Tom Hanks will receive at the 2020 Golden Globes with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which is honored to those that have made outstanding contributions to the entertainment world.

Over the course of his career, Hanks has been nominated for 15 Golden Globes, including having won eight times.

The actor again voiced Woody in Toy Story 4, which dropped earlier this year, and will also star as Mr. (Fred) Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, this holiday season. He also has numerous projects coming in 2020 and 2021, including a live-action adaptation of Major Matt Mason.

The 77th installment of the Golden Globes is set for Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at 8pm (ET) on NBC.
