Director Colin Trevorrow has enlisted the original starring triple threat from Jurassic Park for the upcoming third installment in the Jurassic World trilogy in Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

The trio of Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm, will join Jurassic World 3 stars Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), as the dinosaurs are now free and living among us in captivity.

Recently, a Jurassic World short, Battle at Big Rock, dropped and served as a bridge from the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom to the upcoming JW3. The short takes place in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with wild dinosaurs becomes a terrifying fight for survival.

Jurassic Park, which quickly became a global phenomenon, having pulled in over $5 billion, globally, paved the way for Jurassic World and all the dino-themed toys and memorabilia that ensued.

Jurassic World 3 is slated for June 11, 2021, debut in theaters, while Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, the animated Netflix series, will launch at some point in 2020.
