Skarsgård Brothers Selected to Star in Robert Eggers’ THE NORTHMAN
October 16, 2019An all-star cast has been assembled by filmmaker Robert Eggers for his next film, The Northman, which will star the Skarsgård brothers, among others.
Eggers has enlisted Sjón Sigurdsson to co-write the screenplay, while also having recruited the producer of both Hereditary and Midsommar, Lars Knudsen, for the film as well, which is being described as a Viking revenge saga, set in 10th-century Iceland.
In conjunction with both Alexander Skarsgård and Bill Skarsgård, the film will also star Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Willem Dafoe.
Eggers broke onto the scene with his first feature film, 2015’s The Witch, while his upcoming film, starring both Robert Pattinson and Dafoe, The Lighthouse, is slated to release in theaters on October 18.
